Sandy has been a partner with HSM LLP since January 2007. Sandy obtained his CPA designation in 1978 and holds a BSc. degree and a MBA degree from the University of Toronto.

Sandy has been in public practice for over 40 years. Throughout most of Sandy’s career, he has specialized in the area of taxation, both Canadian and U.S.

Sandy is active in the servicing of real estate development and self-storage operations, and providing planning solutions to owner-managed business. He also services investment companies, retail operations, entertainment and sporting celebrities, on-line sales operations and educational enterprises.

Sandy is active in the charitable community. He is the past-president of a Toronto conservative congregation and is a board member of a drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatment center. In addition, Sandy acts as an advisor to a foundation that assists individuals with a genetic neurological disorder.
